The first Snakeshead Fritillary is out! My grandparents planted some of these beauties back in the 1930s. Each year they are a total delight - white mauve and purple with exotic snakeskin designs. A great time of year to be at Cobnor!

The daffodils at Cobnor are at their best just now - carpets of them near the shore. Lovely to share them with Lyra, my great niece 💕
